1. I just want to confirm that there is ABSOLUTELY NO DIFFERENCE between the Rokinon 12mm F2.0 and the Samyang 12mm F2.0. - Numerous forums suggest that there is only a subtle marketing difference, but no difference in quality 2. I have uploaded three photos for examples.

The fixed 12mm lens has a minimum focusing distance of 7.9 inches. Just got the new Samyang 12mm f2.0 for my a6000 and I'm blown away by the image quality, there weren't to many reviews available yet, but I was expecting good quality as my Samyang 8mm f2.8 fish-eye is really top notch, but I wasn't expecting really the 12mm to be sharp wide open, it's very very sharp even at f2.0!!!

The Rokinon 12mm f/2.0 with and without the included lens hood. The lens is rather small for an ultra-wide-angle, especially so when considering the f/2.0 maximum aperture. In length and size it's roughly the size of the Fujifilm 14mm f/2.8, and notably smaller than the other 12mm lens available for mirrorless cameras: the Zeiss 12mm f/2.8.

It's sharper at f/2.0 than the Zeiss at f/2.8, a real accomplishment. The Rokinon 12mm f/2.0 starts very sharp in the center wide-open, with good performance in the corners. Both lenses peak in.

Just blown away by the Samyang, note that the Tokina is downsized from 37mpix, so it has a bit of advantage on the sensor..
